This is awesome.. except for the very last idea. If my boyfriend turned my apartment into a den of iniquity, I would first probably die laughing, and then tell him to come out of the closet. Unless he also brought red wine and made an immaculate dinner... I don't know.. is that hypocrtical?

Fabulous job, though, seriously. Guys, take notes. Lots of them.

Thanks for the love. I've always romanticized this over hyped day and been disappointed with the less than stellar outcome. Now I'm using my quixotic nature to get men the kind of loving they've only seen in the movies :).

Okay so let's amend the last item to include a nice bottle of red and a four course home cooked meal, after all it is in the Fabulous category.

Great advice. As a guy I prefer homemade gifts that involve time and effort. A girl I went backpacking through the Canadian Rockies with, sent me a calendar she created with pictures (the non-digital kind) of places we'd travelled together. It was incredibly touching and a gift that hasn't been replicated since.

I usually do all of the above to some extent. Except I make dinner.

@tyfn I really like sentimental stuff like that, and I'm glad you do too. I know some guys have little appreciation for those heartfelt gifts.

@Joe You must be Mr. Wonderful!

Haha... Joe - I imagine that's true of most men.

    Clearlii,

Yeah, we don't compare notes much.
